A personal favourite of mine is the Pink Bourbon varietal of coffee species. I am always drawn to the complex and elegant characters with a sweetness that carries throughout the drinking experience. This washed coffee is special from Inza, Cauca region of Colombia. I really think you'll love experiencing this as either espresso or filter.
This coffee from farmer Maria Rosa Oidor showcases beautiful sweet characters from floral notes of elderflower, honeysuckle to sweet and juicy tropical and berry fruits. And the intoxicating smooth finish on the palette encourages more sips.
The family run farm is small and now only cultivates the Pink Bourbon varietal because of it's excellent sensory qualities. Maria Rosa Oidor runs the farm with husband Alfonso runs the store. Their four sons help on the farm and are learning how she manages it for when the farm is inherited by them.
